I made a petition I was hoping to collect some signatures on to get DC’s attention about how upsetting this is to the fans of Batwoman.
I will follow all your future endeavors, JH! And I hope DC changes their minds about Batwoman because it is their best title.

I am, of course, heartbroken … but can also expect nothing less than honesty and integrity from the man who made sure my heroine had those same qualities.

A great and admirable thing was done with your and Blackman’s run on Batwoman. Aside from the storytelling I was also touched by, what I perceive as, your social responsibility as writers. I know it has been stated that the editorial decision wasn’t made on the basis of Kate’s sexual orientation. However it certainly would have sent an undeniably powerful social message. The only consolation that could be gotten from this is that you nevertheless honoured that message, in making the decision to depart. Thank you for the stories, truly.
