I was hoping you’d post the inks of this spread!

The detail put into the textures alone is awe-inspiring, and I love how you’re able to really give each character their own distinct face.

Thank you so much for nice comment. That spread easily took me around 5 days to finish.

My question is simple : how can you meet the dealines without problems when you have to produce that great art ???
I mean… that’s insane; just one month !

The way we are hitting our monthly schedule is that we’ve been working way in advance. The amount of time it takes for me to produce work of this standard and come out monthly is for there to be a lot of lead time. I’ve tried to work faster but then I end up with results that I can’t feel good about.

I’m amazed by your artwork! I only just stumbled upon your website, I’ve been reading a lot of your work (Promethea and Desolation Jones are favourites). I’m surprised so much of your work is done on the actual page, Ithought a lot would be digital. Will you be posting any “how to” guides? Or have you already (like I said, I only just stumbled upon this treasure trove!)? It’s amazing, amazing stuff.

I’m glad you’ve found me here in the digital ether. Thanks so much for the kind words. As far as “How To Guides”, I’ve considered doing that but I don’t know if I could properly describe things for people to immediately know what I’m saying without having a physical demonstration to go along with it. Which would require quality video work to accompany the text and images. Maybe one of these days when there is time to focus on producing something like that.
